Experience Youngstown's First Ever Drone Show
Celebrating Freedom. Honoring History. Inspiring the Future.
Experience history in the making as Youngstown takes flight with its first-ever drone light show. This breathtaking aerial performance will illuminate the night sky with stunning animations, powerful storytelling, and symbols that celebrate freedom, resilience, and community pride. Blending cutting-edge technology with the spirit of Juneteenth, this one-of-a-kind experience promises to inspire, captivate, and create memories that will last long after the final light fades.
Our journey begins in 1865 in Galveston, Texas, where the final enforcement of emancipation reached enslaved African Americans on June 19—more than two years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. This historic moment, now known as Juneteenth, marked the day freedom was finally announced to those who had been denied it, becoming a lasting symbol of hope, liberation, and perseverance.
As the story unfolds across the night sky, you'll witness the appearance of the Sankofa bird, a powerful symbol from the Akan people of West Africa. Often depicted with its head turned backward while moving forward, Sankofa teaches us that we must learn from our past to build a stronger future. Its message—"go back and fetch it"—reminds us to honor the sacrifices, struggles, and achievements of those who came before us. In the spirit of Juneteenth, the Sankofa bird represents the importance of remembering history, preserving culture, and carrying the lessons of freedom forward for future generations.
Through every formation and every light, this show tells a story of resilience, achievement, and unity—celebrating the journey from emancipation to empowerment while inspiring us all to continue building a brighter future together. Join us as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and look toward the future under the lights of Youngstown's first-ever drone show.

Entertainment Everyone Can Enjoy
At Titan Tech Collaborative, we believe celebrations should be accessible to as many people as possible. As the son of a United States Marine, I understand that the loud explosions associated with traditional fireworks can be challenging for veterans, young children, pets, and individuals with sensory sensitivities.
Drone light shows offer a different experience—one that still inspires awe and excitement while reducing the sudden blasts and concussive noise of fireworks. It's a modern way to bring communities together and create memorable moments for everyone in attendance.
